Also, there is a bug where if you freeze the 5th and 7th stage final bosses just as they are pushing you away, you can prevent them from spawning enemies, and the Beholder in the final stage, as well as the flying eye things in the eighth stage will just fly off the screen if frozen and unfrozen.

I really like this same, though I do feel like the shield strike is way too reliant on luck for the first couple of levels. I also really like this game for having different choices in the upgrade path, instead of "right" choices like some of Adventale's other games

This is a very simple game at its core, but I found myself wanting to push further as the choices start to open up from level 2 onward. The concept works really well, and the game is enjoyable to play.

Nice work!

Small suggestion: maybe allowing players to equip multiple items of the same type (for example, two shields instead of one shield and one armor) could further reinforce the feeling of building your own setup.
